Application Process

Pre-Kindergarten

1. Begin gathering the following required documents that will be submitted during the online application process:

• Birth certificate
• Record of immunizations
• Any diagnostic testing results
• Name and email address of child's current teacher, applicable only for the five-day program

2. Submit online application including nonrefundable $50 application fee

Note: Students must be potty trained and must be three years old by August 31 of the year they will enter Pre-K

Kindergarten

1. Begin gathering the following required documents that will be submitted during the online application process:

• Birth certificate
• Record of immunizations
• Any diagnostic testing results
• Name and email address of child's current teacher

2. Submit online application including non refundable $155 application fee (includes testing fee)

3. Schedule the following with the Admission Office

• Student Visit Day
• Admission Testing

Early Decision Applicants

Kindergarten Early Decision is offered to the following children:

• Currently enrolled SCS Pre-K students
• Siblings of currently enrolled SCS students
• Children of SCS alumni
• Children of SCS faculty/staff

Note: students must be five years old by August 31 of the year they will enter Kindergarten.

Grades 1 - 6:

1. Begin gathering the following required documents that will be submitted during the online application process:

• Copy of birth certificate
• Record of immunizations
• Copy of most recent standardized test results
• Copy of most recent report card
• Name and email addresses for student evaluations
  • Grades 1-4 | Current teacher and principal or counselor
  • Grades 5-6 | English/Language Arts teacher, Math teacher, principal or counselor

2. Submit online application including non refundable $155 application fee (includes testing fee)

3. Schedule the following with the Admission Office

• Student Visit Day
• Admission Testing

Grades 7-12

1. Begin gathering the following required documents that will be submitted during the online application process:

• Copy of birth certificate
• Record of Immunizations
• Copy of most recent standardized test results
• Copy of most recent report card
• Copy of full transcript
• Name and email addresses for student evaluations
  • English/Language Arts teacher
  • Math teacher
  • Principal or counselor

2. Submit online application including non refundable $155 application fee (includes testing fee)

• Full set of transcripts are required
• High School students must have grades above 70 to receive credit for the courses transferred to SCS

3. Schedule the following with the Admission Office

• Student visit day
• Admission testing
• Family Interview
  • The Admissions Office will contact you for a family interview if all the admission requirements are met
