SCS Launches 2012-2013 Annual Fund Campaign
It is with much excitement and enthusiasm that SCS launches its 2012-2013 Annual Fund Campaign. This year’s campaign, titled Educating with Christian Purpose, is chaired by Walsie and Matt Holster at the Elementary Campus and Laura and Matt Gieser at the Preparatory Campus. SCS is honored to have such dedicated volunteers lead this important effort. Additionally, grade captains from every grade level have volunteered to work with the Holsters and Giesers to promote the campaign.
The Annual Fund is a vital component in the overall fundraising effort at SCS. Your participation in this effort helps SCS realize its important mission by providing valuable dollars to support a Christ‐centered, college preparatory education that graduates young adults prepared to serve as Christian leaders in the world. All gifts to the Annual Fund from Trustees, Faculty and Staff, Parents, Grandparents, Alumni and Friends support the success of the school through tax‐deductible donations.
Over the years, the Annual Fund has supported many programs and initiatives including Chapel programming, technology advancements, facility improvements, tuition subsidy and scholarships, faculty graduate study and professional development. The 2011 Annual Fund helped to fund may efforts including implementation of the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program on the Preparatory Campus, remodel of Snelson Building restrooms on the Preparatory Campus, iPads for all teachers on the Elementary Campus, technology upgrades for Elementary Campus Chapel, the playground pavilion on the Elementary Campus and branded signage on both campuses.
We invite you to participate and join the SCS Board of Trustees and the Faculty and Staff who have made a 100 percent participation commitment. Thank you for your consideration and should you have any questions, please call.
