STEPS TO ENROLLMENT
*Please read the section that pertains to your child's age and grade:
Early Childhood / Kindergarten Preparatory
1. Contact the Elementary Admissions Office at 817-294-0350, extension 100, to schedule a classroom/facility tour or attend one of our Admission Office Informational Events - Nov.13th, Jan 15th, and April 5th. (Times listed on Calendar of Events).
2. Open Enrollment for new applicants will begin April 14th, 2008 at 7:30 AM. Doors will open at 6:30 AM. Students will be accepted into the Early Childhood 4 year old 2-day and 3-day classes on a space-available basis. Files will not be accepted for admission without the following:

3. Any spaces remaining after the April 14th Open Enrollment date will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.
Placement into 5-day Kindergarten Preparatory classes follows the same procedure, with the following additions:
Must have prior pre-school experience
Pre-school teacher evaluation
4. Students eligible for 3 day and Kindergarten Preparatory classes must be 4 years old No Later than October 2008.
Placement into the Early Steps 2-day class:Students must be 4 years old NO LATER than December, 2008 .
Kindergarten
Contact the Elementary Admissions Office at 817-294-0350 ext. 100 to schedule a facility tour, or attend one of the Admissions Office Informational Events. Oct. 28th, Nov. 13th and Jan. 15th. (Times listed on Calendar of Events).
Schedule a Kindergarten Entrance Exam with the Admissions Office. Entrance exams will be scheduled beginning Jan. 26th for three consecutive weeks.
Make reservations for your child to attend Kindergarten Visit Day on February 3rd by calling the Admissions Office.
Make sure all the following information has been turned in to the Admissions Office No Later than Friday, February 13th to be considered in first round placements:

Teacher Recommendation - to be returned by the current Pre-K teacher
This information, along with testing results and reference is used by the Admissions Committee to make acceptance and placement decisions. You will be notified by mail. First Round Kindergarten notifications will be mailed February 27th. Any spaces remaining after February 22nd will be evaluated individually within a timely manner. If accepted, an enrollment contract and information regarding tuition will be included with the acceptance letter. The enrollment contract and the non-refundable tuition deposit must be returned to the Admissions Office before enrollment is official.
GRADES 1 - 12
Call the Admissions Office at 817-294-0350 ext. 100 (1st-6th) or 817-294-9596 ext. 242 (7th-12th) and set up a facilities tour, or attend one of the following Admissions Office Informational Events:

Forward Confidential Teacher Evaluations to the appropriate teachers. Students applying for 1st through 3rd grade need one evaluation from their current core-curriculum teacher. Grades 4th through 12th require two evaluations - one each from current Mathematics and English teachers. Students applying to grades 4th through 12th also require the completed Principal / Counselor evaluation prior to placement decisions being made.
5. Schedule an Entrance Exam with the Admissions Office respective of your child's grade. Group testing dates are Saturday, March 7th and Saturday, March 28th, 2009. Students who cannot attend one of these group-testing dates will need to schedule an exam during school hours. Exams must be completed and all paperwork above received by the Admissions Office No Later than March 16, 2009 to be considered in First Round Placements.

First round 1st thru 12th notifications will be mailed April 3rd. Any spaces remaining after April 3rd will be individually evaluated within a timely manner. If accepted, an enrollment contract and information regarding tuition will be included with the acceptance letter. Final step to the enrollment process will be a family interview with the campus Principal or respective designee. The enrollment contract and non-refundable tuition deposit must be received by the Admission Office as well as an interview with the Principal before enrollment is official.
