Middle School Students-The 2013 Middle School Required Summer Reading list is available by clicking the link in the menu to the left. The list also contains a link to MBS Direct to order your selections online.
The middle school summer reading video below, starring your fabulous fellow students (BLOOPERS included), provides an overview of the storyline of the books.

High School Students- This summer, high school reading is being approached a bit differently. Students are encouraged, but not required, to read a book from the 2013 High School Summer Reading list, available by clicking the link in the menu to the left. The list also contains a link to MBS Direct to order your selections online.
The incredible high school English teachers have produced the video below (BLOOPERS included) to assist you in making your summer reading selection by giving you an overview of each book on the list. Many genres are available and there is something for every reader!
As you read, annotate and analyze or simply sit back and enjoy. When you return to school in August, you will have the opportunity to attend a “book party” – a discussion group with others who have read the same book. You can earn a daily grade for your participation in the book party.
