Providing a Christ-centered college preparatory education that graduates young adults equipped as Christian leaders in the world, SCS has persevered through the faithful support of people who share this vision and are moved to make sacrificial contributions to acquire property, provide state of the art facilities, and maintain an outstanding faculty on both campuses.
One of the core values of Southwest Christian School is a responsible corporate leadership that consistently provides a quality education, offering a return on investment that meets or exceeds the expectations of our stockholders. At SCS, because tuition does not cover the total cost of educating a student, the challenge is to keep tuition affordable for the many families who want to give their student a Christian education while continuing to strive for excellence in our programming.
Every year the school depends upon two major fundraising events to finance enhancements to the educational program and support special projects.
The Annual Fund, which occurs in the fall, is the cornerstone of giving to SCS. To achieve academic excellence, acquire state-of-the-art equipment, and hire outstanding teachers, this sustained financial giving program is a necessity for the continued progress of our school.
The Auction, which is our spring event, allows for upgraded technology, textbooks, transportation, improved facilities, student financial aid, expanded academic offerings and general operating expenditures that come up each year.
We continue to be grateful to the Parent Teacher Organization and the Athletic Booster Club who also raise money for the school. The PTO provides upgraded equipment for the teachers, while the Booster Club helps to supply our athletic teams with the best uniforms, equipment, and facilities.
Ultimately, the continued progress of Southwest Christian School will be achieved through the wise stewardship and generous giving of our school families and our many friends in the greater Fort Worth community.
To meet the growing demand for Christian education in the Fort Worth area, continued expansion and enhancement of our facilities will be required. We are confident in God's blessings on the plans for Southwest Christian School, and we invite you to partner with us in providing for your child a distinctively Christ-centered education.
