Grades 1 through 12

1. Return the completed and signed forms to the Admissions Office:
- Application for Enrollment
- Student Photograph
- Application Fee - $50 (for 2012/13 applicants)
- Parent Questionnaire
- Student Statement of Agreement (4th – 12th grade applicants only)
- Request for Confidential Records form (This will be mailed by SCS once student is accepted)
- Copy of most recent report card showing both grades and citizenship
- Copy of Transcript (9th through 12th grade applicants only)
- Birth Certificate
- Record of Immunizations
- $100.00 testing fee
2. Forward Confidential Teacher Evaluations to the appropriate teachers. Students applying for grades 1 through 3 need one evaluation from their current core-curriculum teacher. Grades 4 through 12 require two evaluations – one each from current Mathematics and English teachers. Students applying to grades 4 through 12 also require the completed Principal / Counselor evaluation prior to placement decisions being made. Teachers and Principal/Counselors can either mail or fax forms to the SCS Admissions offices.
3. Schedule an Entrance Exam with the appropriate Admissions Office for your child. Group testing dates are Saturday, March 3 and Saturday, March 24, 2012. Students who cannot attend one of these group-testing dates will need to schedule an exam during school hours. Exams must be completed and all paperwork above received by the Admissions Office no later than March 9, 2012 to be considered in First Round Placements.
4. Students applying to grades 4 through 12 are required to have a visit day for a minimum of a half-day. Please contact the appropriate Admissions office to schedule your child’s visit day. An application must be on file with the Admissions Office prior to scheduling a visit.
This information, along with entrance exam results, visit day and evaluation(s) is used by the Admissions Committee to make acceptance and placement decisions. You will be notified by mail. First round 1st – 12th notifications will be mailed March 30, 2012. Any application received after the second round of placements will be evaluated within a timely manner. If accepted, an enrollment contract and information regarding tuition will be included with the acceptance letter. The final step to the enrollment process will be a family interview with the campus guidance counselor or respective designee. The enrollment contract and non-refundable tuition deposit must be received by the Admission Office as well as an interview with the guidance counselor or respective designee before enrollment is official.
